My Current Editing Workflow
From import to export — a simple, repeatable path that leaves room for judgment.

A workflow is only useful if you can finish more photos without thinking about the tools.
1. Import and cull
Rate aggressively. Keep only frames you would print.
2. Global base
White balance, exposure, contrast. Stop when the file feels honest, not “finished.”
3. Local polish
One or two masks max for most images. Then rest your eyes and recheck tomorrow.
4. Export
Web sizes for the journal; a larger master for archive. Naming stays consistent: slug-web.jpg.
